Kidblog.org blogging made easier for education

19 Apr

Someone recommend it to me. I tried at once and it’s great.

It’s blogging for education. That doesn’t sound new with edublogs.org, blogger.com, wordpress.com, etc.

The difference that you have all your students posts under one page or class page. So, there is no need to ask for links and losing them. Also, it is aimed for children and it has more protection for their sake.

You create a teacher account at kidblog.org. You create a class (200 students tops)

As the teacher, you can add the students (no email necessary), change password, delete students, and other features. Also, you can approve posts and make visible to outside audience or with required password.

Students access to their account and they can read their classmates’ posts and write their owns.

This year, I am just starting to use it with my classes. I would share the class page but I still working on it.
