Behavior and attendance made easy… Class Dojo

07 Jul

I was goofing around Chrome Web Store one boring day. I looked into the Education category and in the subcategory of Herramientas de administracion y para profesores I found something quite cool.

It’s Class Dojo. It’s an online tool to take attendance (new feature) and give positive and negative awards (behavior) in class.

Since it’s an app for Google Chrome, you can install it very easy and free. Just need to register and upload your groups.

Also you can choose avatars (Super cute avatars) for your students or it can be randomly. They can be critters, monsters or create your own. There are more, this is just a sample.

You can edit the behaviors.

You can make reports and email them to parents.

You can give to the students a code so they can see their grades and change their avatars. Super cool since it generates a pdf file to print.

In general: It’s free, cute and worth trying it out.
